Worplesdon Golf Club is, surely, one of Surrey's great hidden treasures, presenting an immaculate setting for golf throughout the year.There are a number of superb holes on this layout and most require accuracy and a little imagination as opposed to sheer brute strength. The third is a great hole and requires a straight drive in order to avoid the ditch to the left. If you push it too far right you will have an impossible shot over trees and greenside bunkers onto a fast green sloping away from you. Many, however, regard the fourth as Worplesdon's signature hole. It is a challenging par three up a steep hill to the clubhouse, played under the watchful eye of the members. There's trouble everywhere - a great hole!
