Trevose Golf Club is open 365 days a year and is in guaranteed Championship condition throughout. The Championship course was laid out by Harry Colt, who also laid out Muirfeild, Lytham St Annes, Pine Valley, Wentworth and Sunningdale. The Championship course has various amounts of difficulty that will appeal to all players from the professional to the high handicapper. The Course has four sets of tees while the wind on all the Trevose courses can often play a major part and prevent low scoring (the course record is 66). There are many well positioned bunkers and a stream follows much of the Course. The fairways are wide and links-like texture, making for easy walking. The rough is kept short to ensure that balls can be found and that play keeps moving. All the large greens have automatic computerised watering and have typical links undulations and burrows that are not easy to read. There's only one blind spot on the course, so it is a fair tests of golf
