Founded in 1894 Bundoran Golf Course was originally designed by an ancient course designer GL Ballie. The first President of the Club was the Duke of Abercorn. The course was re-designed by six times British Open Champion in 1927. The great Christy O'Conor was professional at Bundoran from 1951to 1957. Located on a rocky headland between Bundoran Beach and Tullan Strand, the 130 acres of parkland offer stunningly picturesque scenery and a challenging round of golf for all levels of player. The course is bounded on the right by Bundoran Beach, the town itself and the West End Cliffs, all in the backdrop of Ben Bulben mountain. Bundoran is an ideal combination of links and inland terrain spiced with subtle challenges and an ever-changing wind from the Atlantic will be an experience you will not forget.
