The Hazelbank is a small family run hotel overlooking St. Andrews bay only a drive and a wedge from the 18th green of The Old Course and yet only 5 minutes walk from the University and historic town centre.
Hazelbank was built in 1898 as a townhouse for a tea planter retiring from his tea garden in India and became a small hotel in 1902. All of the original decorative plasterwork and the impressive timber staircase have been retained showing off the best of the building's Victorian Heritage. The building has been extensively refurbished over the last few years and offers 10 warm, non-smoking, comfortable and richly decorated bedrooms all with full modern en-suite bathrooms. Each room has direct dial telephone, television and hospitality tray for tea and coffee.
