The world heritage site of Bath and the stunning countryside that surrounds it, is one of England’s most beautiful places to visit. Bath is a unique city, with its Roman baths, hot springs, Abbey and Georgian stone crescents that have been attracting visitors for centuries. Nearby is the equally exciting city of Bristol, which offers a fascinating mix of historic & new. Nearby & rightfully named as the country's " Prettiest Village," Castle Combe is a charming community that recalls a bygone era. Salisbury has also been a favourite destination with visitors for the past 800 years or more. There is an abundance of historical buildings peppered throughout the city to explore – including the majestic sight that is Salisbury Cathedral’s spire, Britain’s tallest. What trip to Salisbury would be complete without a visit to Stonehenge – an iconic, ancient World Heritage site that has mystified and amazed for thousands of years. It’s an experience not to be missed.

Burnham & Berrow
Burnham is a challenging layout with the tumbling fairways laid out in narrow valleys, protected by deep pot-bunkers and thick rough. The greens are fairly small, requiring precision approach shots and once you are on the putting surface, the fun really begins. Burnham’s undulating, slick greens are amongst the very best in the British Isles. There are many notable and varied holes at Burnham, with a strong collection of par threes. The first six holes are especially good and the back nine is magnificent. Burnham has played host to many important amateur championships over the years and the course is regularly used for Open Championship qualification. A round at Burnham & Berrow is an absolute must for links purists.

Bath Golf Club
Bath Golf Club, established in 1880, has one of England's oldest and finest inland courses. The Club was formed with much assistance from officials of the Westward Ho! Golf Club which was one of only five clubs in existence, in England, at the end of 1879. Bath Golf Club therefore lays claim to being the sixth golf club to be formed in this country. Laid out around 'Hampton Down', the course occupies a prominent position on one of Bath's beautiful surrounding hills. The 18 hole, 6442 yard, par 71 course may not be the length that today's course designers seem to favour, but in the 1880's they knew how to create a challenge using the natural contours of a hilltop location steeped in history with stunning views that, on a clear day, stretch to the Welsh beacons.
