Situated in one of the best-known regions of the Algarve, to the west of Albufeira, Salgados Golf is already a 'postcard' of Portuguese golf. Salgados, which opened in September 1994 has the feel of a Scottish links course but with a Florida atmosphere - lots of sun, palm trees and water. Salgados is a fun course, fairly flat on the whole and great fun, but you might need plenty of balls with all that water around ! |

Characterised by two large lakes and great views of the Monchique mountains, Golfe Dos Alamos, is the 2nd course to be developed at the Morgados do Reguengo project, north of Portimao. Set beside its sister course 'Morgado', Dos Alamos has some tightly undulating fairways, that runs around two large lakes, some testing bunkers and undulating greens that will keep you on your toes.

The Morgado golf course is one of the longest in the Algarve at 6,399 metres, characterised by 9 undulating holes with spectacular views and 9 flatter holes dominated by water hazards. In all, there are five par 5's, nine par 4's and four par 3's. The large open greens will test your putting and watch out for the deep bunkers. One of the most uniques features of Morgado is that there is very little housing anywhere on the course, just you & some stunning scenery. |
