What you may be too aware of, however, is that this particular country is rapidly becoming one of the foremost destinations for golf in the Mediterranean.

As with any great golfing hotspot, it offers superlative weather conditions all year round, a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, wonderful accommodation that's affordable to all and golf course that encompass stunning scenery. Best of all, all this is only three hours away!

We have shortlisted eight top courses for you to play and they are all generally well mainatined all year round and within easy access of your hotels. What's more, if you find carrying your bag too much of a chore, then hire one of the local caddies and get some course management advice into the bargain. The caddies are a friendly bunch and know the courses well, plus they'll give you tips on the best places to eat and drink in the evening.
