ITINERARY |
| |
| |
Day 1 |
Royal Golf Hotel, Dornoch |
| |
Situated on the 1st tee at the famous Royal Dornoch Golf Course, many of the 25 en-suite rooms, including the two luxury suites, have panoramic views across the course and the Dornoch coastline beyond. The split-level Conservatory provides all day dining and is the ideal vantage point for watching the proceedings at the club. Whilst miles of sandy beach may invite you to enjoy long undisturbed walks, you may find it difficult to resist the temptation of settling down with a malt whisky in the Tom Morris bar. |

Day 2 |
| |
There are written records showing that golf was played at Dornoch in 1616, long before its first nine-hole golf club was founded in 1877. This makes Dornoch the world’s third oldest golf course (behind St Andrews and Leith). It’s the timeless setting that makes Royal Dornoch such a pleasing place to play golf. It’s wild, isolated and, at the same time, absolutely beautiful.

Day 3 |
Brora |
| |
The golf club in Brora was established in 1891. In 1923 James Braid, five times Open champion and prolific designer of golf courses, the most famous of which is Gleneagles, visited the course and redesigned the 18-hole layout which has stood the passing of time and remains a fair and challenging test of a true traditional links course. Brora represents all the attributes of a traditional Scottish links, with a classic layout, an easy opening hole, and a short hole facing each cardinal point of the compass.

Nairn |
| |
One of the most spectacular seaside courses in Scotland, Nairn boasts sea views from every hole. The sea is in play on six of the first seven holes. You cannot fail to appreciate the undulating, bunker-pitted moonscape that is Nairn. It’s a delightful links with fast, firm but narrow fairways, a number of which are framed by gorse bushes and heather, The greens are sited in the trickiest places – some are raised and others are nestled in hollows. Most are well protected, either by bunkers or natural hazards, and all of the greens are fast and true, a Nairn trademark.

Day 5 |
Moray |
| |
A lovely course that doesn't get the recognition it deserves. A great layout that provides a very stern test. If the wind is up this course is tough - the 18th as it is a fantastic closing hole !
The old course is considered to be one of the finest links courses in Scotland. A classic links designed by Old Tom Morris with deep revetted bunkers, undulating gorse lined fairways and smooth fast greens..
Moray Golf Club is truly one of Scotland's gems, a fitting tribute to the artistry of Old Tom Morris and Henry Cotton and a must for golfers visiting the area.

Day 6 |
Boat of Garten |
| |
Established in 1898 and designed by one of the grand-masters of golf course architecture - James Braid, "The Boat" is not only a demanding test of sporting skill but also a magnificent setting for the game. The view from the clubhouse, over the 1st and 2nd fairways and beyond, to the Cairngorm mountains is incomparable. Popular with visitors, from both home and abroad, the course has become firmly established as a "must" for those enjoying a golfing tour of the Scottish Highlands
