The Grove, located in the South of England has everything you’d expect from a grand luxury country house hotel - but with a twist. Their service is genuinely welcoming and friendly, certainly not stuffy. Our unique style is a mix of traditional elegance and hip, contemporary design which we call “groovy grand”. With 300-acres of park and woodlands, an award-winning spa, world championship golf course, and three restaurants, there are so many reasons to get into The Grove!
227 guest hotel rooms and suites range from the luxurious to the truly palatial. From the ultimate in contemporary style and comfort in their West Wing rooms to the truly special in their uniquely designed and decadent Mansion Suites, many with open fires and four-poster beds. Food and drink have always been essential pleasures for guests at a country estate. At The Grove, this tradition continues but with a twist. In each of the restaurants, from fine dining in Colette's, rustic relaxed comfort in The Stables, or the dazzling selection in The Glasshouse, you will find a blend of high quality ingredients, friendly service and stimulating environments.
The ideal escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life; the perfect way to relax and re-energise. The Grove hotel’s stunning health spa, Sequoia, offers the ultimate in relaxation and personal attention. Whether you want to pamper yourself with indulgent treatments, slip into the cool waters of their black-tiled mosaic pool, make the most of the state-of-the-art fitness facilities, or just relax in a fluffy robe and slippers, Sequoia spa offers a tantalising choice to take care of all your health, beauty and well being needs.
The Grove golf course in Hertfordshire, England is widely regarded as one of the finest new golf courses in Europe and recently played host the World Golf Championships, American Express Championship. Test you skills and see how you compare! The course opened for play in 2003 to rave reviews. Designed by Kyle Phillips (the man behind Kingsbarns), he has used the natural contours of the land to create a high quality parkland course, with a links-like feel. The large undulating greens are always in superb condition (as is the rest of the course !) - the fairways are thickly grassed and very lush, and with some long par 4's, you will have to be at the top of your game to score well here.
