Stoke Park Club’s renowned 27-hole championship golf course, known as Stoke Poges, was designed by Harry Shapland Colt in 1908. Colt was arguably the greatest golf architect in history, having worked on over 250 of the best courses in the world. The Club’s signature hole, the par three seventh, was the inspiration for Colt’s partner, Alistair MacKenzie, when he designed Augusta National’s 12th hole at the formidable Amen Corner.
